Ana was born in Coimbra, but grew up in  the island of São Miguel, in the Azores. Her first performance was in a Christmas play in elementary school. Fascinated by the experience, she immediately started dreaming about becoming an actress and creating opportunities, as there wasn't an Entertainment Industry in the island. She would perform every time there would be a potential audience, like in birthday parties or class presentations. During high school, she made a pact with her parents: if she completed an University degree in the shortest time possible, they would make her wish of studying Acting in Hollywood come true.

She went to the main land to study Law at the University of Lisbon and, as soon as classes started, she enrolled into the University's Theater course. She was selected to become a member of the Company, joined two other Drama Groups and acted in student and professional short-films and features. As she was doing what she loved, she often felt tempted to leave her Law degree unfinished, but she found enough strength to succeed in her part of the deal.

When Ana graduated, she went straight to Los Angeles to take the one-year Acting for Film Conservatory Program at the New York Film Academy (Universal Studios). After the Program, she was authorized to work in the U.S. for another year, so she got an agent and a manager and started auditioning. Ana performed at the Victory Theatre, the Dorie Theatre, The Lizard Theatre and the Bootleg Theatre and worked in several commercials, short-films, music videos, feature films and TV shows. She also kept taking acting, casting and accent reduction classes.

When her Visa expired, Ana went back to her native country, so she could build a solid career in Portugal, while learning new skills and working towards international recognition. She signed with one of the top Portuguese agencies, acted in dozens of short films, some plays and in features, TV shows, TV movies and series. To date, she has over 70 credits to her name which is a phenomenal accomplishment for a young lady.

Ana has also produced some of her own projects and worked as a TV Producer, Reporter and Voice Over artist for a Sky TV channel in London. While based in the United Kingdom, she went to Portugal a couple of times to act in Film and TV, signed with Langford Associates and was awarded a scholarship to study at TVI Actors Studio in the United States.

She went back to Los Angeles to study and, in the meanwhile, signed with Pink Hammer Entertainment. She then got her O1 Visa and is now based in the States again.

Ana is a beautiful actress, talented, spirited, and intelligent with good sense of humour and easy smiles. Ana is a joy to work with, as all who have worked with her would agree. Fingers crossed, the great starring role will soon be offered to her as she truly deserves it.
